Eclipse, Friday Fandom time
Jul. 18th, 2008 12:38 pmSpecifically, Jaina was going to see whether Mara was up for sparring. She'd beaten Lowie last time, which meant she was maybe possibly slightly planning on showing off a tiny bit before getting her ass kicked by a Master. With some free time on her hands, she headed down to her aunt and uncle's quarters, knocking on the door.

Jun. 15th, 2008 12:55 pmIf there was one thing Jaina had to show John before the trip was over, it was the Falcon. Besides, giving him the tour meant actually getting some time to themselves on a base full of people.
Not worrying at all if her inner geek showed through while describing all the systems and the modifications that she knew of (and let's face it, the odds were there were some she wasn't aware of), she led him to the cockpit, where she slid easily into the pilot's seat, just because she could. "Have I bored you yet?" she asked.

It did worry her, however, when Han dragged John off for some menial labor and what she suspected was probable interrogation. She was sure John could handle himself, though, and it did give her time to talk to Mara alone.

She understood the need for secrecy and all at times like this, but she didn't like thinking that applied to her. At least with John there for the trip she didn't have much time to get sulky.
It wasn't till they'd landed on the planet and followed the instructions to a cave mouth that she got a real feel for who was around, and then it clicked. "So I'm guessing this is the Jedi base," she said, not stepping inside just yet, but reaching for her comlink instead. All right, maybe she should have given warning that she wasn't coming alone.
