Snow Monster A4- Sunday after radio
May. 30th, 2010 10:23 pmJaina was actually trying to go to bed early for her, knowing she'd been pushing herself with work and training and wanting to be ready for her trip. She'd been worried that having the puppies around would interfere, but they'd go running with her and play by themselves whenever she had to train or make calls. It was almost too bad they couldn't stay forever, they were astral.
While 'going to bed' had been easy enough, 'going to sleep' had not. This was due mostly to a tiny golden retriever who couldn't seem to get comfortable. While Cappie was completely asleep at the foot of the bed (there was plenty of room, since Jaina's feet didn't reach the end of the mattress), Sparky kept getting up and walking to find somewhere better.
"Make up your mind," Jaina told him.
The puppy decided to take that as a hint, nudging her arm with his nose till she moved it, and then he promptly cuddled up to her side. And then nudged her hand, because he wanted to be pet to sleep.
Okay, it was no bunny snore, but that was pretty damn cute.
[NFI. The puppies are gone tomorrow, I had to do something with them.]
