Portalocity Terminal- Coruscant- Saturday morning Fandom time

It had been surprisingly easy for Jaina to be relieved from her assignment. She got the feeling the Council had realized that she was going to do whatever she wanted to do anyway so it was easier to just go along with it, but in reality she'd sounded worried enough when she called Luke that he'd agreed maybe she should go. And fine, maybe she felt guilty about leaving again to go running off to Fandom, but she kept reassuring herself that it wasn't like she didn't work her ass off at home, and in cases where you had a bad feeling about something, it was best to go with it.

So it was back to Coruscant for a whole couple hours and then off to the Portalocity terminal, where even though she'd booked her portal via her phone, they claimed they'd lost her reservation when she got there.

"My portal- with its six connections was booked," Jaina said firmly. "And I'll have you know that as a Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimer at a time when you guys are clearly have issues with your company, it'd be a bad business move to lose me as a customer."

"These things do happen, Jedi Solo," said the nervous Twi'lek at the counter. "Perhaps you didn't hit 'confirm'-"

"I got a confirmation notice."

"Ah. Well-"

Jaina put her elbows up on the counter, so it was a little less conspicuous to others when she waved her hand. "You will put me through to my portal."

"Right, let me get you started on your way," the Twi'lek replied automatically. "...Only I can't."

Sooo not what Jaina wanted to hear. With another little gesture, she asked, "And why not?"

"Your first connection is one of those patches of time and space where it's impossible to contact," he said.

It was beyond her why they'd schedule a connection that wasn't possible to connect to at this time, but she chalked it up to being one more thing they were just doing all wrong. "Then I need you to book me another portal, one with connections that can be contacted."

"Of course, Jedi Solo. Leaving today?"

"Yes. Immediately."

"Then I should tell you that the prices between now and when you booked will be different-"

"If you want to get through the day unslapped, you'll do what I ask you to do." Really, he should be glad he hadn't gone with 'unForce-choked.'

"...Yes, of course."

[Establishy, and I think I am going to all-out make her life hell this weekend.]
